Co-Sponsorship for Humanities Events

The Center for the Humanities and the Public Sphere (CHPS) co-sponsors virtual events, such as conferences, speakers, and workshops, organized by faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate students that engage the humanities.

Funds Available: $300 per event

Fund Transfer: Funds will be transferred to one of the event organizers’ units for spending.

Required Report: In order to continue to be eligible for future CHPS co-sponsorship, within two weeks following the event, event organizers will prepare and submit a brief final report to CHPS that: (1) provides attendance numbers; (2) describes whether the event reached the intended constituencies; and (3) describes the event and event outcomes in a short paragraph. An email will suffice. This information is used in the CHPS annual report. CHPS welcomes event organizers to include photos with permission for us to post on our website.
